What is Atlas — mobile device security built on Check Point Harmony Mobile?

Atlas is a managed mobile device security (Mobile Threat Defense) service by Persist Security — a dedicated protection layer for corporate smartphones and tablets. It is built on Check Point Harmony Mobile and protects iOS and Android devices — including BYOD — from phishing, malicious apps, spyware, hostile public WiFi networks and operating system vulnerabilities. Persist Security, an Israeli cyber security company with a managed SOC, delivers Atlas as a complete service: licensing, deployment, 24/7 monitoring and incident response.

Threat Surface

Why are smartphones the attacker's target of choice?

Information security in your organization usually stops at the laptop. Attackers already know this — the shortest path into the corporate network doesn't go through the firewall, it goes through an SMS to an employee.

Phishing that bypasses email filtering

Mobile phishing protection is an entirely different problem: SMS, WhatsApp, LinkedIn — channels no corporate email filter ever sees. One link to a fake Microsoft 365 login screen, and the employee's credentials belong to the attacker.

Malicious apps and spyware

Seemingly innocent apps that demand access to contacts, microphone and messages — and leak all of it. Spyware also arrives through the official stores, after passing Google's and Apple's own reviews.

Hostile public WiFi networks

A café, an airport, a conference. One open network is all an attacker needs to intercept traffic in a Man-in-the-Middle attack, steal a session and walk into corporate systems as the employee.

Defense Layers

What does Atlas — protection for your mobile devices — include?

Check Point's ThreatCloud AI engine — Check Point threat intelligence — deployed on every device in your organization, and managed by our team.

Anti-phishing on every channel

Real-time link scanning inside every app — SMS, email, WhatsApp, browser. A spoofed site is blocked before the page even loads.

Deep application analysis

Every app is inspected at the code and behavior level. A malicious app, spyware or a leaky app is identified and quarantined — including ones sitting in the official stores.

Network protection and safe browsing

Detection of Man-in-the-Middle attacks, hostile WiFi networks and forged SSL certificates — with automatic disconnection before corporate data leaks.

Device and OS hardening

Detection of jailbreak/root, vulnerable operating system versions and risky configurations — gating access to corporate resources until they're remediated.

Employee privacy preserved

Per Check Point's published Harmony Mobile privacy model — the foundation of Atlas: no reading messages, no viewing photos, no location tracking. Suitable for BYOD policies — employees are protected, not surveilled.

Connected to the Persist SOC

Every alert flows into our monitoring center. A real incident gets an immediate analyst response — not an automated email nobody reads.

LIVE FEED // PERSIST SOC

This is what it looks like in real time

Every event blocked on a device in your organization is reported to our SOC and handled by an analyst. Phishing in an SMS, spyware posing as an app, eavesdropping on a public network — stopped before they reach corporate data.

Want to see how Atlas would work for you?

Deployment

How do you roll out Atlas — without a months-long project?

No collecting devices, no downtime for employees. Protection integrates with your existing mobile device management (MDM) stack, or deploys directly to employees.

PHASE 1 / DAY 1

Short discovery

A 30-minute call: how many devices, iOS/Android, is there an existing MDM (Intune, Jamf), what's the BYOD policy. We build the security profile.

PHASE 2 / ROLLOUT

Silent rollout

Distributed through your existing MDM or via a direct install link to the employee. Protection is active from the first moment — no user configuration and no hit to device performance.

PHASE 3 / SOC

Monitoring and response

Our SOC monitors, triages and responds to mobile threats — 24/7.

Why Atlas

Why do organizations choose Atlas by Persist Security?

An end-to-end managed solution, combining Check Point technology with human expertise — for real results.

Not just a license — a managed service

An ordinary vendor will sell you licensing. We operate, monitor and respond. That's the difference between a shelf product and a genuine security layer for your mobile devices.

Israeli SOC, real availability

Analysts who know the local threat landscape — including the phishing and impersonation campaigns aimed specifically at organizations in the Israeli market.

An attacker's perspective

Our penetration testing team breaks into organizations for a living. Security policy is built around how attackers actually operate — not around a brochure.

Regulatory compliance

Cyber insurers and enterprise security reviews increasingly expect mobile device protection to be in place. We help you put it in place.

Personal Protection

Atlas for private individuals — personal protection for your phone

Your personal phone now holds your entire life: bank accounts, payments, photos, WhatsApp and email. Attackers, spyware and phishing campaigns don't distinguish between an organization and a private person — yet most personal phones are left with no protection layer at all. Atlas brings the same Check Point-based enterprise protection to your personal device.

Who is it for?

Executives and business people, journalists, lawyers, accountants and professionals who carry sensitive information on their phone — and any private individual who values their privacy and wants peace of mind.

What do you get?

Protection from phishing on every channel (SMS, WhatsApp, email), blocking of spyware and snooping apps — including camera and microphone abuse — protection on public WiFi networks, and monitoring by our SOC. And your privacy stays intact: per Check Point, no access to your personal content.

Hebrew-speaking support 24/7

An Israeli, Hebrew-speaking support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — from your first install to any question or alert. You are never alone facing a threat.

STEP 1 / DOWNLOAD

We send a direct install link to your phone — iOS or Android. No technician, no leaving home.

STEP 2 / INSTALL

A one-minute install: approve the permissions and the app starts working. No complicated setup and no hit to device performance.

FAQ

The questions every IT manager asks us

What is Atlas and what is mobile device security (Mobile Threat Defense)?

A dedicated protection layer for corporate smartphones and tablets: detecting and blocking phishing on every channel, malicious apps and spyware, attacks on public WiFi networks and operating system vulnerabilities. Atlas is Persist Security's managed service, built on Check Point Harmony Mobile — Check Point's enterprise MTD platform — and includes licensing, deployment, SOC monitoring and incident response, 24/7.

What's the difference between MDM and mobile device protection?

MDM (mobile device management, such as Intune or Jamf) controls the device: policy enforcement, encryption, remote wipe in case of loss or theft. Mobile Threat Defense protects the device: it detects phishing, malicious apps and network attacks in real time. The solutions are complementary — Atlas integrates with your existing MDM and adds the protection layer that MDM alone does not provide.

Does this compromise employee privacy?

No. Per Check Point's published Harmony Mobile privacy model — the technology at the core of Atlas — the system does not read messages, does not view photos and does not track location. Analysis happens at the threat level only — links, files and suspicious traffic. That's exactly what makes it deployable on personal BYOD devices without employee pushback.

I'm a private individual who cares about privacy — is Atlas for me too?

Yes. Atlas also fits private individuals who want enterprise-grade protection on a personal phone — executives, people in sensitive roles, and anyone who values their privacy. Per Check Point's published privacy model, the system does not read messages, does not view photos and does not track location — analysis operates at the threat level only, so your privacy is preserved while you are protected.

Does Atlas protect against camera and microphone hijacking, call eavesdropping and spyware like Pegasus?

Yes. Atlas detects and blocks the installation of malicious apps and spyware that abuse the device's camera and microphone, track your location or eavesdrop on calls — including infection attempts by advanced mercenary spyware such as NSO's Pegasus and Intellexa's Predator. Detection combines real-time behavior and permission analysis with Check Point's ThreatCloud AI threat intelligence, and every suspicious event is reported to our SOC for immediate action.

How long does deployment take?

Usually within a few business days of order approval, depending on device count and MDM readiness. Rollout runs through your existing MDM (Intune, Jamf and others) or via a direct install link — without physically collecting a single device and without any downtime.

Employees have antivirus on their phones. Isn't that enough?

Mobile antivirus mainly checks known files. It does not block a phishing link in an SMS, does not identify an app with spyware-grade permissions, and does not alert on a Man-in-the-Middle attack on public WiFi. Those are the real attack vectors on mobile — and they are exactly what Atlas exists for.

How much does mobile security cost for an organization?

Pricing is per device per month and depends on volume and service tier (licensing only, or a fully managed service with SOC). Leave your details and we'll send you a formal quote — no commitment.
